Watch This Child Monk Give Jackie Chan Some Pointers On Shaolin Technique

Jackie Chan’s not above improving his skill set no matter how old the expert giving the advice might be. The international box office juggernaut/Yo! Where Jackie Chan at Right Now? talking point has popped up in a popular slice of video that features Chan and an elementary school aged Shaolin monk working on technique with Chan receiving a healthy dose of instruction.

Taken during the filming of the 2011 film Shaolin, Chan gamely submits to the teachings of his child coach and gets gently repositioned whenever something is not up to the monk’s standard of doing things. Sure, he could shout “I HAVE RUMBLED IN THE BRONX AND LIVED TO TELL THE TALE” at his pint size instructor, but instead the Spy Next Door star isn’t a d*ck so here we are. It’s that sort of respect that makes the world work, particularly in cases where you’re getting tips from the youth model of an ass-kicking machine.

Getting back to the subject of Yo! Where Jackie Chan at Right Now? we must never forget that a film starring Jackie Chan, John Cusack and Adrien Brody came into the world this year. As you might imagine, the reviews for this cinematic offering (sexily titled Dragon Blade) were less than desirable, even with UPROXX touting the majesty of Brody’s goofy beard choice.
