There are plenty of things Jean-Claude Van Damme could do to create a memorable late night appearance, but Conan might’ve found the pick of the litter. Flashback to the late 1980s and a little film called Kickboxer. In that movie, Van Damme shows more than just his fighting skills by busting out some dance moves to impress some lovely ladies. The dance even ends in the silliest of fights, of course, and Van Damme walks away unscathed.
Back in the present, Van Damme is on Conan talking the new sequel to Kickboxer starring Big Dave Bautista and the dance gets brought up. The action legend gets talked into recreating the dace live on the show and it’s damn perfection, down to the silly fight at the end and Conan joining the dancing.
The only thing that’s missing is the split. I guess they didn’t want to spoil us.
