With abuse allegations hanging over his head like the Sword of Damocles, the ever-eccentric Johnny Depp has decided to take on this whole nasty divorce with Amber Heard from a different angle. That angle involves apparently brooding in Dracula’s castle, like all great eccentrics dream of doing. So while the world is still torn on if Johnny Depp was an abusive husband and what that does to our image of him, Depp excused himself off to Romania to brood and be a rock star.
According to E! Online, Depp took off for Romania for the last show of the Hollywood Vampires’ summer tour in Europe. Hollywood Vampires, the supergroup featuring Depp, rocker Alice Cooper and Aerosmith gunslinger Joe Perry will be playing a show on Monday, June 6th in Bucharest and this video of Depp promoting the show has surfaced in advance of it. This is the first time that Depp has appeared on camera since the whole Heard divorce drama began.
Depp’s time in Romania also involved Bran Castle — what is believed to be the castle of Dracula — in Bucharest alongside his bandmates and longtime collaborator Tim Burton. Really, that’s probably the only logical thing to do while in Romania, especially while in the midst of a rather public, image-destroying, soul-crushing divorce such as Depp is engaged in now.
