A large swath of the internet seems to enjoy bashing Kristen Stewart and her lip-bite acting and her wiffle ball poetry and whatnot. But let’s be fair. The 24-year-old already has 33 film credits, only five of which are Twilight movies, and she’s had at least three different facial expressions in those movies. Stop being so mean, you guys.
She sometimes smiles! She told a douchey Twilight fan to f*ck off! She tackles cougars!
So it’s not all bad, right? Um… moving on. Kristen Stewart wants to be in a Captain America movie.
There, we’ve said it. Kristen Stewart wants to be in a Captain America movie.
In an interview with Yahoo, Stewart talked about her love for superhero movies and her desire to be in one.
“I would love to show people that I can do more than just be ‘Kristen Stewart’ in a different movie, in a different circumstance.” She notes her past role as Snow White in the big-budget fantasy adventure Snow White and the Huntsman could be a jumping off point for a superhero role. “I’m sure I could get on board with Captain America, you know what I mean?… It would just have to be the right thing.”
We could totally see her becoming the impetus for some interpersonal conflict…
