Here’s All The Stuff Coming To Netflix In December, Including ‘A Very Murray Christmas’ And ‘Nurse Jackie’

There’s a healthy throng of titles coming to Netflix this December to help ease you into 2016. Among the standouts is Tangerine, a film completely shot on an iPhone, which was a hit on the festival circuit earlier this year. New seasons of Maron and Comedy Bang! Bang! will give you your dose of funny, and some older films like Ray, Stir of Echoes, and Darkman will ensure that you’ll have something to watch in between binge sessions of Jessica Jones. Here’s what you should be watching on Netflix streaming this month.

A Very Murray Christmas (12/4)

The last time Bill Murray and Christmas got together, we got the hilarious Scrooged. Now, the duo is back, this time for a Netflix special including a swath of stars like George Clooney, Chris Rock, and Amy Poehler among others. How much do I really need to sell you on this? It’s directed by Sofia Coppola and it starts this Friday, so set some time aside.

F is for Family, Season 1 (12/18)

Bill Burr is one of the funniest comedians in the world, and if you’re not listening to his hilarious Monday Morning Podcast, then you should do yourself a favor — and watch his stand-up specials on Netflix. Burr and Netflix are teaming up once again, this time for an animated series that surrounds a semi-dysfunctional family living in the ’70s. With Burr, Sam Rockwell, Laura Dern, and Justin Long providing the voices, and with material based on Burr’s comedy, it’s likely a night with this family will not be time wasted.

Nurse Jackie, Seasons 1-7 (12/31)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PAb4Qoc5yvM

Nothing like a little depravity in the workplace to make you feel better about yourself. Nurse Jackie isn’t just a show about a nurse addicted to opioids, it’s a tense drama spiked with hilarity, and starring Edie Falco in an Emmy award-winning role as a hospital worker who’s just as adept at her job as she is at hiding Percocet in her sweetener packets. Watch her traverse the rough waters of her career and broken marriage while attempting to ingest drugs at every turn. All seven seasons are here for your bingeing needs.
