The Spidey race is coming down to the wire, and now there are two actors being considered to play the role of your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Last week, Asa Butterfield was being touted as one of these contenders and that hasn’t changed. But now, Tom Holland (The Impossible) has also been rumored as a possibility, according to Devin Faraci of Birth Movies Death (formerly Badass Digest).

We’ll reiterate that this is all rumor, nothing has been confirmed by Marvel. But if rumors are to be believed, at least we can see exactly which direction Marvel is taking as far as casting goes for Peter Parker. But we’re sure to get an announcement very soon — Marvel’s new Spider-Man is set to make his debut in Captain America: Civil War, which is getting ready to begin shooting if they haven’t already.
