In the halcyon days of 1999, audiences were blessed with the cinematic masterpiece that is She’s All That. Freddie Prinze Jr. and Rachel Leigh Cook made hacky sack and angry art cool again, all the while trying to convince people that Cook was anything but classically beautiful. Their teen dream romance may have been born out of a bet, but as is always the case in romcoms, they found their happily every after together.
While She’s All That will never make it into the Criterion Collection, it does conjure up nostalgia for many, and that fondness reached a fever pitch on Thursday when Cook and Prinze Jr. met up for coffee and were kind enough to share the evidence with the Internet. Prince Jr. is really leaning into the silver fox phase of his life and Cook honestly doesn’t look a day older than she did in 1999. It’s just good genes all around.

While we may never know the context behind the brownie debacle, it’s always nice to know that former costars are still chums. After all, she did teach him that performance art doesn’t have to be scary and he showed her that taking her glasses off would let her model looks shine through.
