I have to admit, the key selling point for me in this TV spot for Terminator: Genisys is actually J.K. Simmons. It’s nice to see a reasonable police officer in this franchise for once, especially one who sees a killer robot and decides to listen to the people talking about a killer robot.
Beyond that, this clip found by TheWrap is mostly expanded footage from the first trailer, which we’re not complaining about because the first trailer was mostly explosions. Really, as long as there are explosions, stunts, and no dumb jokes at the franchise’s expense, we’ll be happy. We’ll see if we’re happy July 1.
