The more Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson does to promote his upcoming remake reboot continuation of Jumanji, the more happy-but-confused everyone still listening feels. Yes, it sounds like the sequel (?) to the Robin Williams film will feature a lot of really great performers, and yes, the casting includes another pairing of Johnson and comedian Kevin Hart. But what exactly is the story, and what kinds of characters will these entertainers be playing in it?
Never fear, for The Rock is here to drop yet another tiny morsel of information about the project — this time in the form of an Instagram post previewing concept art of his character, Dr. Bravestone. A prowrestler-turned-actor whose ring name is “The Rock” is playing someone named “Bravestone”:
“Concept art of my Jumanji character. ‘The Smoldering’ Dr. Bravestone. (Not sure where my pecs went). This is gonna be fun. Me, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, Nick Jonas and the ‘Ginger Assassin’ Karen Gillan can’t wait to ‘play the game that plays you.’ “
