Sony is slowly but surely stacking the cast of the new Jumanji flick with as many stars as possible. They’re relying on Jack Black, Kevin Hart, Nick Jonas, and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson to carry the ‘totally not a remake’ continuation of the original Robin Williams classic of the same name. But – as The Rock pointed himself – they needed to find a girl:
A girl who has “Chutzpah”. Karen Gillan shaved her head and kicked ass in Guardians of the Galaxy, traveled through space and time in a police box to fight dinosaurs, daleks, and Venetian vampires on Doctor Who,, and patiently puts up with fanboys and every kind of con imaginable. We’re more than confident Gillan will be able to hold her own against whatever a magical board game can throw at her.
