Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation premieres in a few weeks, and everyone knows by now that Tom Cruise tackled some crazy stunts for the film. We previously touched on the six minutes he spent holding his breath underwater, and of course there’s also that much talked about airplane scene.
Paramount just released the above clip, which gives us a brief behind-the-scenes look at the making of the scene in question. Cruise admitted he was “scared sh*tless” to strap himself to the side of that airbus. Fearful or not, the 53-year-old actor proceeded to cling onto that thing for eight different takes until director Christopher McQuarrie got what he needed.
Say what you want about Cruise, but the man is pretty dedicated to his craft. Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation is set to hit theaters on Friday, July 31.
