If you’ve ever wanted to create your own wicked set of Predator blades, you’re outta luck. This isn’t exactly a do-it-yourself video, but it sure is a fascinating watch. Matt and Kerry Stagmer (the brothers of Baltimore Knife & Sword) showed off their unusual weapon crafting skills in an episode of Man at Arms: Reforged.
The brothers’ trusty team of blacksmiths forged a new set of the Alien vs. Predator variety of wrist blades (or “gauntlet knives”). Presumably, these blades are sharp enough to cut through bone. They carry the added details of being retractable, serrated, and oh-so-shiny.
The real fun starts around the 6:25 mark. Watching these guys test the Predator blades on innocent watermelons and 2-liter soda containers seems almost cruel. Those poor, inanimate objects never saw it coming.
