Inhumans is nearly four years away; it doesn’t debut until November 2nd, 2018. But Marvel is already laying the groundwork in Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Vin Diesel… well, he’s being even less subtle.
We could lay out all the subtle hints Vin has been dropping, but really, why bother? Here’s what he just posted to his Facebook page:
Either he’s campaigning hard for a job in this movie, has the job and is just having some fun teasing his fans and riling up his fellow nerds, or is telling us Groot will turn out to be an Inhuman. Of the three, the latter two seem the most likely. It’s not out of the realm of possibility Marvel will use a character like Groot to introduce the Inhumans. Keep in mind that this is a part of the Marvel universe where a giant teleporting dog with a tuning fork growing out of his forehead is the least weird thing about it.
The question, of course, is who else he might be playing. Really, he could be any Inhuman, bar Medusa. What? The guy’s bald, it’d be weird to see him running around in a fake wig.
