Released in 2010, comedian DC Pierson‘s book The Boy Who Couldn’t Sleep and Never Had To is about, well, it’s in the title. Think Insomnia, except not at all and with space aliens. The novel is now being adapted into a feature film directed by Dan Eckman (Community) and starring Tony Revolori (The Grand Budapest Hotel) and Jack Quaid (Hunger Games), and you can watch a proof-of-concept short that Pierson, a Doug Loves Movies favorite, and Meggie McFadden helped put together.
