Often, when Wes Anderson movies come to mind, people mostly discuss his unique cinematography or the melange of kooky and quirky characters featured in every one of his stories. Anderson may be known for his indie film style, but thanks to the above movie super-cut, we can now fully explore the action movie aspirations of the celebrated director.
Vimeo user Dávid Velenczei edited together the video, which highlight’s the director’s habit of punching his characters right in the face, tossing them down stairs, and — very rarely — chopping their fingers completely off.
It kinda makes Saturday Night Live‘s Wes Anderson horror movie parody feel a bit more like reality than fiction.
