“Achy Breaky Heart” singer (and Miley Cyrus parent figure) Billy Ray Cyrus was on The Arsenio Hall Show tonight and he performed with a special guest. That guest was none other than Mister Fred Durst of the band Limp Bizkit. They performed what some may call a “song” – in that it had a beginning, a middle, and an end and that it featured singing. Billy Ray spends an admirable two-thirds of the song crooning standard MOR Christian-radio rock before Fred Durst appears out of nowhere, as if this is some celestial game of Mad Libs, and begins to rap. You won’t see anything like it perhaps ever again, and by that I mean it could be the end of the world happening, Melancholia style, and there’s nothing we can do to stop it.
Nietzsche was right. God is dead.
