Almost four years removed from their Grammy nominated debut album Days Are Gone, it would appear that Haim is finally gearing up announce its follow-up. Mysterious billboards have been popping up all over the world, and the band has been sharing some interesting clips from the studio via social media. We have very little information about he release, other than the fact that we will probably hear the first single as early as this Thursday, April 27th, and that it will likely be drum-heavy. Drums have played a big role in the pair of teasers the band has posted thus far, the first of which shows Danielle Haim bashing away at her drum kit solo in the studio, the latter depicting all three of the Haim sisters working together to create an epic drum beat in what also appears to be a studio space.
Last summer, less than a month after the death of Prince, the trio covered “I Would Die 4 You,” as well as debuted a couple of new songs — “Nothing’s Wrong” and “Give Me Just a Little of Your Love” — at their tour kickoff, both of which will likely appear on the as-yet-untitled new record. Check fan-shot videos of both tracks below.
