Ever wanted to see Jason Derulo dress up as Rick James and sing the funk legend’s well known hit “Super Freak”? Well, wish no more; the pop superstar will be performing the iconic song on Lip Sync Battle later this week.
Derulo will be going up against American Idol alum Katharine McPhee, and judging by a preview Derulo’s performance, it’s going to be a memorable one. Costumed as James, Derulo totally does the former justice, making exaggerated faces and even throwing in some unexpected hip thrusts.
The second season of Lip Sync Battle has been off to a good start so far. For the premiere, they brought out Channing Tatum and his wife Jenna Dewan, with the former winning with his memorable performance of Beyonce’s “Run the World (Girls).”
The latest episode featured The Walking Dead‘s very own Lauren Cohan, who sang Night Ranger’s mega power ballad “Sister Christian.”
