Drake’s the nicest rapper you know.

Along with Oliver El-Khatib, Drizzy’s currently playing host to episode 32 of OVO Sound Radio, as a special treat to fans on the eve of the rapper’s 30th birthday. But instead of receiving, he’s giving his loyal followers something new. A new project called More Life.

“I want to announce a project I’m releasing in December called More Life,” he says. “It’s a playlist. I’m off…I did the album, Views was the album…that was what it was and thank you again for everybody that supported that. But I’m off like mixtapes.”

He continues, “I want to do a playlist. I want to give you a collection of songs that become the soundtrack to your life so this is More Life, the playlist. Like I said, dropping in December, all original music from me. You might hear some tunes from the family on there.”

As he explains, he doesn’t really want to ease up after the recent success of Views and his Summer Sixteen tour. Instead of relishing in the moment, he’d rather keep working. “Most people would like go probably take a break,” he explains, “but for me I just want to get right back to it. Be with the people again… I just want to celebrate life. More life. That’s what we live by. That’s something we not take for granted.”

After he shared the news, an image went up on his Instagram that featured his father, Larry Graham, along with the text More Life. We don’t want to rush into calling this an album cover just yet because we all know the OVO team has a penchant for using social media just to accelerate the buzz around projects.
