Johnny Manziel’s young NFL career has been a mess thanks in large part to the quarterback’s unwillingness or inability to quit drinking and partying, and, from all indications, neither Manziel’s life or career seem to be heading in a better direction at this point in time.
The 23-year-old is currently jobless (the Browns cut him after this season), agent-less (Drew Rosenhaus recently became the second representative to drop him this year), and seemingly careless (he’s been photographed still drinking and partying as recently as this week). He’s also being indicted on a domestic assault charge stemming from an altercation with his then-girlfriend in January.
But since being cut by Cleveland, Manziel has remained relatively mum about his issues, at least in the public eye. On Friday evening, however, Manziel took to Twitter to publish some thoughts.
You guys act like what I'm doing is something new. I've been the same person, doing the same things since it all started.

Made plenty of mistakes along the way, and have a lot I'd do differently. To all my family and real friends who have stuck by me…THANK YOU

It’s a good sign that Manziel recognizes that he’s “made plenty of mistakes,” but hopefully he realizes that “doing the same things since it all started” hasn’t exactly worked out so well for him. Maybe it’s about time to start changing some those things up.
Oh, and Manziel also had some thoughts for the guy who shared the picture of him watching the NFL Draft at a bar on Thursday night.
@WillBurge LOL.

@WillBurge should have just said it to my face instead of sitting across from us tweeting away. Pussy

Okay then. Well, at the very least, he’s made one good career move recently.
