Badasses Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are on the cover of this month’s Rolling Stone, and although their anecdotes about rage issues and, um, Steve Zahn are interesting, there’s one passage I mentally circled in red about a million times: the fact that a 16-year-old Cranston lost his virginity to a European hooker.
According to an online excerpt:
Cranston lost his virginity to a professional at age 16 while on a “teen police explorer” trip to Europe: “Beer is a nickel, and the hookers are cheap – it was 24 guilders, which I think was $8, to get laid. We’re all writing home to our parents for more money, ‘We’re having such a good time, Mom and Dad! Please send more money! We promise to pay you back! We’ve got to protect the citizens from the hookers!'” (Via)
This would make for a great blues song:
In Europe, beer cost a nickel and the hookers are cheap
I met myself a girl and knew I soon was going to be balls deep
I asked how much she cost and she said 24 guilders to get laid
I responded, “No problem, baby, I just got paid”
She wondered what it is I did to make my wallet go cha-ching
I said, “Don’t worry about it, girl, I’m the King.”
Also, Cranston and Paul played with a baby sheep:
