Stephen Colbert And Kermit The Frog Pondered The ‘Big Questions’ Like Happiness And Pants

Hot off a not-quite-official performance of Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me,” Kermit the Frog made an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. They reprised a segment in which Colbert and a mega-famous guest ask “Big Questions With Even Bigger Stars.” Colbert has already discussed God’s wardrobe with Bryan Cranston, a movie about Secret Service dogs protecting the President’s dog with Tom Hanks, and “would you rather” questions with Scarlett Johansson.

In the newest “Big Questions” segment, Kermit the Frog and Stephen the Person talk about the nature of free will, the difficulties of your tail falling off (upside: you get legs), trying to high five when your hands are made of felt, inventions we should’ve thought of, problematic high school biology classes, and the inherent troubles of buying happiness when you don’t have pockets. Or pants. The CBS censors aren’t going to like that last bit (or bits), but that’s none of my business.
