Cookie Monster is going to be joining the cast of the Furchester Hotel, which is a BBC childrens’ series run by the Sesame Workshop — so John Oliver was on hand to help him learn what kind of culture shock to expect when he makes his move across the pond. Everything was going pretty good until John Oliver informed him that in the UK, they don’t have cookies. Or at least that’s not what they call them there. Bad move to tell a giant fuzzy blue monster that fiends for all that is chocolatey and chewy. John Oliver is lucky he made it out of the situation with all limbs intact and vision in both eyes.
Now I just can’t wait til someone tries to feed Biscuit Monster a Scotch Egg.
