Nothing went right for the Warriors in Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Steph Curry sleepwalked through the first half, Klay Thompson clanked off balance jumpers all evening and Draymond Green lacked his usual pizzazz. The Warriors still have a 2-1 series lead with two games at Oracle in their back pocket, but a 30-point loss has added necessary intrigue to the series.
After the game, Draymond was seen taking a picture with someone who was thought to be a fan. It was an unusual sight for a marquee player after a horrid Finals loss. Draymond actually had a perfectly reasonable explanation, but the internet, as it’s wont to do, reacted.
Can y'all imagine if Lebron posed with a fan for a pic after losing by 30? Did y'all see Draymond

Draymond Green Fangate ended pretty quickly when the person in the picture explained the situation on Twitter. Draymond wasn’t actually taking a picture with a random fan. She and Draymond knew each other when they attended Michigan State.

Even if Green did take a picture with a fan, it shouldn’t be some indictment on his competitive nature. If Draymond wants to do a 30 minute photoshoot after the game, that’s his prerogative. It’s the NBA Finals, and even though Warriors are setup to make many more runs to the Finals, it’s not a certainty that he’ll get back. Let the basketball men have some fun.
