This Phantom Foul On Paul George Might Be The Worst Call Of The Playoffs

It’s easy to see why official Zach Zarba called a foul on Paul George here. He had no angle to see the real cause of DeMarre Carroll falling to the ground, making it easy to assume the Indiana Pacers superstar shoved his Toronto Raptors counterpart in the back.

Still, you’ll be hard-pressed to see a call more phantom than this one throughout the remainder of the postseason. George didn’t even touch Carroll; the latter tripped on DeMar DeRozan’s foot.

Yikes.
