Capcom Opened A Bar, Will Serve Brains

Hey, remember Capcom? They made “Resident Evil,” “Final Fight,” “Street Fighter” and a whole bunch of other games that you wasted your youth on? Those guys?

Yeah, they opened a bar.

Why? Well, according to the Most Perfect Japanese Weirdness Legislation, enacted by the Japanese government in the early 1950s, every Japanese corporation must do something spectacularly weird at least once a decade, because watching Westerners try and understand it is absolutely hysterical, and they owe us, since we dropped an atomic bomb on them.

OK, OK, it’s so Capcom can host press events, and apparently peddle weird barfood like fake brains to hungry gamers and nerdy tourists. Still, a bar? Why not just open a franchise restaurant while you’re at it?
