Bolt-Action Spud Gun? Bolt Action Spud Gun.

Here’s our first question about this bolt-action spud gun: can it fire three shots in 3.2 seconds?

Tasteless jokes about fifty-year-old tragedies aside, this is pretty awesome. We must state that anything involving homemade pneumatic devices, especially ones firing plant matter at high speeds, are risky to the operator and dangerous to those around him (or her, we guess a woman would consider doing this.) That said, that’s sort of the entire point.

The only downside to this design is you can’t just toss in any old potato: you’ll need to shave down the spuds to get your ammo. Still, a faster reload time is crucial in spud wars. Video of the gun in action below.
