Steven Spielberg Impersonates George Lucas, Talks About Indy 5

Photoshopped by Vince.

Steven Spielberg — who has thankfully listened to fans and will release the original theatrical version of E.T. rather than tinker with it like some people we know who appear to be storing acorns in their neck pouch for the long winter ahead — answered questions for Hero Complex after a 30th anniversary screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark in L.A. We have a partial video below where Spielberg impersonates his close friend George Lucas and then speaks briefly about the possibility of future Indiana Jones movies:

Geoff Boucher: “Do you [and George Lucas] ever talk about another Indiana Jones movie?”

[One audience member yells, “Woo!”]

Steven Spielberg: “One person! The only person in the audience–”

Boucher: “And that was Shia.” [pause] “Sorry, I had to.”

Spielberg: “I think that was the only bridge we didn’t burn because of Indy 4.”

Er, nobody tell Spielberg what Shia said about Indy 4 all right?
