After a pretty quiet Leap Day, the publishers come roaring back with quite a lot of stuff. Here’s what stands out this week:
- DC has “Fairest” firing up, focusing on the women of the “Fables” universe. They’re also firing up “Night Force” with Marv Wolfman writing and Tim Mandrake on the art, so we’ll be getting that just because Tim Mandrake should illustrate ALL the horror comics.
- Marvel wraps up “Children’s Crusade”, and starts up another “Age of Apocalypse” book, not to mention a “Toy Story” miniseries.
- Image has two interesting new books starting: “Hell Yeah”, which basically uses the plot of the awful Jet Li movie “The One” for good; and “The Manhattan Projects”, which seems to be about what would happen if DARPA got its hands on the Manhattan Project first.
- And Dark Horse continues its archiving project with “The Occult Files of Doctor Spektor”, a fun Gold Key book.
