Anybody who grew up in the ’90s remembers Toonami. Arguably, it was one of the best things to ever happen to anime in the United States, introducing a huge number of people to high quality work like “Cowboy Bebop”.
Well, guess what? It’s back.
Adult Swim, of course, spent April Fools Day yanking everyone’s chain about this, and asked fans to weigh in if they really wanted the anime block back.
Well, apparently they did. AS is being pretty cagey about the coming lineup; right now there’s nothing on the Toonami site except a Twitter widget. But we’ll see exactly what they’ve got up their sleeve come May 26th.
