Is This An Official Look At The Vision From ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron?’

Back during Comic-Con, Marvel revealed that beautiful concept art poster featuring the Avengers battling an army of Ultron robots. Off in the distance you could see a caped figured floating above the crowd, leading many to believe that was The Vision.

Paul Bettany is confirmed to be playing the role in the film and discussed it a bit during the convention, but the image you see above is possibly the first real look we’ve gotten at the android superhero. Here’s a closer look:

I would say you’d have to be happy if you’re a fan. Like most of the cinematic Avengers, he’s a nice blend between a realistic look and the comic book version. You’d have to assume this made many people giddy when it first hit.

There is the possibility that it is just an elaborate fake though. The Facebook page Marvel Cinematic Universe posted the image and everyone sorta ran with it. It could be a very well done fan piece, although it’s really, really well done if it’s the work of a fan. Aside from that, it looks quite cool.

It’s been a good summer for Marvel with Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain America. I can only imagine what’s going to happen between now and next May when this hits theaters. People are rabid over what they got in Guardians, so I’m assuming this will be a full on blood orgy of comic fandom. No doubt it will be a lot of fun to see.
