Let’s Talk About Tonight’s Geeky TV: ‘Gotham’ Grabs ‘The Mask’

Last week’s episode of Gotham was arguably the moment where the show came into its own, revealing that both Penguin and Falcone are masters of the long con. Of course, that means there’s still a bunch of future supervillains running around for Jimbo to beat up, and we’ll be liveblogging that tonight. But in addition, here’s what else is on.

All times are Eastern.

8pm

Gotham, Fox: Penguin’s plan to take over Gotham is in full swing, but in the meantime, Angry Alfred teaches Bruce to beat people up, and Gordon and Bullock investigate a fight club at an investment firm. No, seriously. That’s the plot of this episode. Somehow, we suspect Batman villain Roman Sionis will be involved, possibly getting the crap beaten out of him by Bruce.

The Originals, The CW: It’s a really bad sign this show doesn’t even have one megafan updating the Wikipedia page with episode summaries, right?

9pm

Sleepy Hollow, Fox: Apparently this episode will have a succubus. Considering the ratings slip, it might be going after Abby.

Star Wars Rebels, Disney XD: Here’s a preview clip that proves TIE Fighters are useless in atmosphere. Seriously, the heroes are flying the equivalent of a space bus, and they can’t hit it? No wonder the Death Star got blown to hell twice.

The Amityville Horror Murders, Reelz: Most of The Amityville Horror is BS, but the DeFeo murders are real, and that’s what this middling doc gets into.

Seeing Black Holes, Science: I know nothing about this show, but I’d love to see its official site’s top keywords. I bet they’re not what the poor naive soul who named this show was expecting.

Again, we’ll be liveblogging and discussing Gotham, so weigh in here. See you tonight at 8pm!
