‘The Order: 1886’ Honest Trailer Has More Hipster Facial Hair Than A Silver Lake Unicycle Convention

“You’ve already been let down by Titanfall, Destiny, and Assassin’s Creed: Unity. Now, the latest console generation will try to justify its own existence with a six hour cover shooter with no replay value.” So begins the newest Honest Trailer from Screen Junkies and Smosh games, referring to The Order: 1886. And, hey, you don’t even have to press X repeatedly in the middle of this video, unlike the cutscene-heavy game.

To be fair, the game took about seven and a half hours to finish when Dan livestreamed it, and the cutscenes — accounting for about 20 percent of the whole game — were well-integrated. Also, how many games allow you to “decapitate werewolves with electricity guns designed by Nikola Tesla?”

On the other hand, it’s a short game with a lot of time spent just looking at stuff. We don’t quite remember this scene involving the picture of time-traveling vampire Nic Cage, however…
