Here’s ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ As Egyptian Art, Because We Need It

Have you ever wondered what the story of Mad Max: Fury Road would look like as ancient Egyptian art on papyrus? Sure you have! Not only is it the film that may become your favorite movie 10 years from now, and not only is it one of the purist, rawest action movies, but now it’s also been described on papyrus. ¯_(ツ)_/¯

This cool piece of fan art was created by Twitter user @takumitoxin, who shared the picture with the caption (in Japanese) “complete Mad Max mythology.” Witness it:

There are so many cool little details here for fans of the movie, although it seems a bit odd that the Doof Warrior only appears to be referenced by his guitar in the bottom corner, and the badass biker ladies are noticeably absent. Nonetheless, Takumi managed to condense an enormous amount of detail into three panels and three borders.
