I’ve never really “got” Minecraft, but hey, if you can judge a game by its ability to recreate other great games, then Minecraft is one of the best of all time. The latest game being re-made in Minecraft is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
The project, which goes by the name “Hyrulecraft”, aims to do more than simply recreate an exact model of OOT’s over world. The plan is to do things with that world that the original game never did. As such, the game will contain MMORPG elements and a new storyline “that continues the story after the events of OOT’s child timeline.”
I’ll pass on the MMO stuff, but hey, the continuing storyline sounds interesting. Just keep the slash fic to a minimum guys — if you want to throw in a little Link/Zelda/Princess Ruto threesome, that’s okay, but no more than that.
