Back in March, Take-Two Interactive (the parent company of Rockstar Games) registered several domain names which sound like parody products to coincide with a possible Grand Theft Auto 5 game, including “StopPayingYourMortgage.net” and “LifeInvader.com”. Then we found a character list for a game called “Rush”, which may have been the code name for GTA V. The character list is here and includes FBI agents, a cult leader, a hillbilly, a soccer mom, a swinger, a pothead, a publicist, a car dealer/loanshark, a paranoid guy, an IT guy, some hippies, a “Beverly Hills party boy”, a mobster, a Chinese translator, and somebody named Simon. The game was rumored to be set in Hollywood.
Although we can’t confirm if Rush is the codename for GTA V, we do know that GTA V is on its way: Nerdcore tipped me off that the Rockstar Games website has changed to the image above, along with an announcement that the trailer is coming November 2nd. You know who else is coming? The pizza guy, with my breakfast. What did you think I meant?
