Yes, believe it or not, another core Star Wars movie is officially in the can. Filming for Star Wars: Episode VIII wrapped this week, and after celebrating with some sexy dancing stormtroopers, some stars of the movie took to Instagram to celebrate.
Daisy Ridley posted this pic, which appears to be from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, but we never see Rey in quite this pose in that movie. A behind-the-scenes shot from that movie? Or perhaps Episode VIII contains a flashback to her fight against Kylo Ren? Daisy Ridley is a master of the art of the Instagram tease, so who’s to say? Wherever it’s from, it’s a striking image.

Meanwhile, Mark Hamill posted this shot from the wrap party, with a shoutout to the cast and crew.
Sadly, Star Wars: Episode VIII finishing production doesn’t mean we’ll be seeing the movie any time terribly soon. There’s still post-production, and reshoots for everybody to spread juicy rumors about (that should be fun). Perhaps we’ll get some more information out of this weekend’s big Star Wars Celebration, although Rogue One will probably be the main focus of the event.
