Adult Swim picks up Odd Future’s live-action ‘Jackass’-style show

Just a couple scant weeks after Tyler the Creator picked up an MTV VMA for Best New Artist, his group Odd Future gets even more mainstream stream with the announcement that their live-action TV show “Loiter Squad” got picked up by Adult Swim for air.
The 15-minute show will feature the members of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them all in a “”Jackass”-style showcase,” according to a release. It will feature “sketches, man on the street segments, pranks and music.”
Johnny Knoxville, Jeff Tremaine and Spike Jonze”s Dickhouse Entertainment is producing.
“Loiter Squad” will air during the Cartoon Network “adult” block, from 9 p.m to 6 a.m.
Adult Swim is no stranger to airing rising and underground talent: they most recently hosted their own Singles Club, with new tracks from Mastodon, Tallest Man on Earth and The Rapture.
