Bellator 160 Results: Benson Henderson Defeats Patricio Pitbull On A Technicality

On Friday night, Bellator held one of their biggest events of the year — an event that would have been even bigger had “Baby Slice” Kevin Ferguson Jr.’s pro debut not gotten scrapped — live on Spike from the Honda Center in Anaheim. Here are the full results.

Main Card

— In the lightweight main event, a very slow, methodical start between Benson Henderson and Patricio “Pitbull” Freire then ended abruptly when Pitbull broke his shin, finishing off the evening with an unfortunately sour and anticlimactic note. The official decision was a Henderson win via TKO (leg injury) in Round 2.

— Lightweight: Derek Anderson def. Saad Awad via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28)

— Featherweight: Georgi Karakhanyan def. Bubba Jenkins via KO (Round 1). It only took 53 seconds for Karakhanyan to drop Jenkins cold with a gargantuan right hook.

— Featherweight: A.J. McKee def. Cody Walker via guillotine choke (Round 2). Yet another finish and McKee remains undefeated in his pro career.

Prelims

— Welterweight: Joey Davis def. Keith Cutrone via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27)

— Lightweight: Gabriel Green def. Alex Trinidad via TKO (Round 2). A solid uppercut floored Trinidad, then Green followed it up with relentless ground and pound until the stoppage.

— Catchweight: Andy Murad def. Johnny Cisneros via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

— Lightweight: Jacob Rosales def. Mike Segura via unanimous decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28)

— Featherweight: Chinzo Machida def. Mario Navarro via TKO (Round 1). Chinzo demolished Navarro at 2:57 with a devastating uppercut.

— Lightweight: Jake Roberts def. Stephen Martinez via TKO (Round 1)
