Back in <a href="http://filmdrunk.uproxx.com/?p=2020" target="_self">June</a> Vince posted about Spiderman 4 being on the fast track, and now <a href="http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/exclusive-sony-sets-sam-raimi-studio-may-shoot-4-and-5-at-same-time/" target="_self">Nikke Finke</a> is reporting that Tobey Maguire and Sam Raimi have both signed on for the project.
Producer Laura Ziskin said this weekend during a speech to California and Nevada theater owners that she was “hopeful” that Spider-Man 4 would be ready by 2011, a date later than the settings of many of the sci-fi films I grew up watching.
Yesterday I <a href="http://filmdrunk.com/post.phtml?pk=1833" target="_blank">reported</a> on rumblings that Tobey Maguire wouldn't be back for Spider-Man 4 and 5, and that the studio had a couple douchingtons in mind as possible replacements.
