Nick Kroll And John Mulaney Took Over ‘Late Night’ With Way Too Much Tuna

Depending which side of the widening political aisle you’re on, Seth Meyers has arguably been the strongest force in late-night television in terms of roasting this ridiculous presidential election. Specifically, he has been calling out GOP nominee Donald Trump on every topic, from the birther movement to that whole “grab her by the p-word” controversy, and if you’re With Her you undoubtedly enjoy every second of it, but if you’re trying to MAGA, well, you’re probably cursing at your monitor and ranting about our liberal agenda. Either way, we desperately need a break from this election, even if it’s just for, oh I don’t know, 13 minutes.

Thank goodness, Gil Faizon and George St. Geegland (comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney, if you live under a tuna-free rock) stopped by Late Night to relieve Meyers of his hosting duties and turn the table by interviewing him. The stars of the hit Broadway show “Oh Hello” grilled the Saturday Night Live alum on his personal life and especially his politics, presumably before they welcomed Terry Bradshaw and Fishbone to the stage. Fortunately, Faizon and St. Geegland were able to make it through the entire segment, culminating in them totally surprising Meyers with a special, fishy gift. (Seriously, he never saw it coming.)

Otherwise, we might have had to suffer through their horrendous, untalented understudies. Ugh, get this loser out of here.
