Has Jesse Eisenberg Known He Was In ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Since October?

Back in October of last year, Jesse Eisenberg and Richard Ayoade were doing interviews for their film The Double. The interview changed into talking about the new Batman Vs. Superman film, because why not focus on their movie when doing interviews about it? Both Ayoade and Eisenberg seem to be screwing with the interview by pretending to not know about it, and then just riffing off each other about the whole topic.

It’s always hard to read Eisenberg, but when the conversation leads to speculation over who the villain is and who will be playing the villain, it gets very interesting. If the news is 100% true over the casting of Eisenberg as Lex Luthor and Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, I think it could be great. Whenever Jeremy Irons is in a mentor like role, he usually kills it (plus he’s dreamy), and Eisenberg can always pull off the autistic super genius with no emotional attachment. He pulls that off in movies, television, real-life, interviews, elementary school, and at drive-thru windows.

You can already see Twitter is going bat-sh*t crazy over the whole story, as expected. But, to get to the top of a business empire, you can’t be nice to everyone, or try to appease everyone, either. I think we all know that by now.
