The Joker has been responsible for a lot of depraved things over his illustrious criminal career, but last Sunday he finally went too far, targeting America’s favorite source of stuff covered in melted cheese, Applebee’s.
The Joker, posing as a drunken 24-year-old named “Aaron Chase”, entered an Applebee’s in Chautauqua Country, NY, and began spreading his trademark brand of chaos, harassing both staff and patrons. Thankfully police soon arrived and managed to thwart The Joker’s latest Machiavellian plan. While it’s impossible to know exactly what The Clown Prince of Crime was scheming, experts agree this was likely an attempt to poison the jalapeno popper supply.
Batman has gone on record as saying he regrets not being able to defend Applebee’s in it’s time of need, but that he was busy fighting the Riddler in a Chili’s during The Joker’s attack.
