Chris Paul doesn’t suck at basketball. At all. He’s easily the best point guard in the NBA and a stone cold clutch player. Of course, most of the country now knows him as the guy from the played out State Farm commercials but we should all know him as one of the five best players in the league. Tonight, he showed why.
Down the stretch in a tightly contested, physical game with the Memphis Grizzlies, CP3 scored six consecutive points. Still, his Clipper squad stayed tied with Memphis with 11 seconds left. That’s where Cliff Paul’s twin or whatever came in, fighting his way to the net and nailing a teardrop with .1 seconds left. Game.
And finally, three days in, it finally feels like the playoffs have started. It’s about damn time.
