When I went to Israel, all I got to look at was this big BORING wall and totally dead sea. (Both halves of that sentence are true.) What I didn’t see, however, was five female Israeli soldiers posing with guns and wearing only their underwear, combat harnesses, and belts, photos of which were recently uploaded to Facebook. Needless to say, their “unbecoming behavior” didn’t sit well with the unusually all work, no play Israel Defense Forces.
The incident is the latest in a string of episodes involving young Israeli soldiers on social media that have drawn reprimand from the military.
In a statement, the military said the women had acted in a manner showing ‘unbecoming behaviour’ for Israeli soldiers, adding: ‘The commanding officers disciplined the soldiers as they saw fitting.’
The statement did not identify the soldiers or give any details about the punishments. Military officials said the base conducted educational lectures to keep soldiers from repeating the offence. (Via)
“The commanding officers disciplined the soldiers as they saw fitting.” Oh G-d. They wouldn’t, would they…?
THEY TOOK AWAY WHEN HARRY MET SALLY. YOU DO NOT DO THAT TO US, YOU MONSTERS.
Oh, they mad.
