A Detroit Radio Show Is Holding A Spring Break Contest To Identify ‘Sluts’ And ‘Virgins’

Isn’t this quaint. A local Detroit morning radio show, Crazy Ira and The Douche — I’m sorry, Mojo in the Morning — is holding a contest to send a couple of young women to Spring Break by having them call in and have the hosts figure out whether they’re “sluts” or a “virgins,” which the callers apparently reveal to producers ahead of time. In the year 2015, somebody thought this was a good idea!

Once on the show, the hosts ask each girl a series of questions about their previous relationships, where they went to college or even her hair color to determine whether the young lady in question in in fact a slut or a virgin. Detroit’s MetroTimes wrote:

After the radio personalities have made their guesses, the caller ‘fesses up, and their admission is greeted by the sort of lecherous proclamations that one should expect to hear in a fraternity house — and, I guess, on Mojo in the Morning: “She’s a sluuuut!”

Longtime co-host of the show Spike addressed criticisms of the contest on-air. “You know Mojo, people are mad at us for this contest, like, ‘Why you making them say they’re a slut?’ That was the whole casting of the trip! We wanted to send one virgin, one slut, see how they enjoy Spring Break.”

See? They’re not sexist. They’re basically just anthropologists. Nothing wrong with that. You can listen to a segment below and determine for yourself.
