Today is April Fools’ Day, so brace yourselves for all the high-lar-ious attempts at humor by the people who ignored John Oliver’s advice to simply not be a d*ck. You don’t want to be one of the folks doing stuff like this…

As was our tradition last year and the year before, we’ve collected examples of pranks that weren’t completely terrible things done by awful human beings. If you must pull pranks, we may as well agree to keep the sociopathic behavior to a minimum. With that in mind, here are about twenty April Fools’ pranks which probably won’t get you kicked in the head while you’re hiding in a trash bag.
