Reddit Helped This Kid’s Dinosaur Driven YouTube Channel Explode With Subscribers

All hail the dinotastic majesty of The Prehistoric Channel! YouTube’s most unlikely streaming sensation has seen an explosion in followers thanks to a sweethearted initiative launched on Reddit.

A thread titled “Kid with 22 subscribers makes epic dinosaur videos EVERY DAY for the last 4 months” popped up on the site last week encouraging Redditors to give said kid’s videos a shot. Why? BECAUSE IT’S A KID MAKING EPIC DINOSAUR VIDEOS, THAT’S WHY!

Here’s the compelling slice of video Redditor Jouletheif used when making his pitch.

Amazing, right? Well, that clip’s been viewed 1.1 million times with the grand total continuing to swell as this kid’s legend grows.

Here’s some very enthusiastic praise for the young vidmaker’s work from Reddit:

“This kid is quite modest too. From his channel description: “on my channel you will get to see how dinosaurs and prehistoric life lived fought and survived! check my subscribers and the people i’m subscribed to for even better dinosaurs videos! We should all subscribe to show him that he’s doing something great!”

And subscribe they did. The Prehistoric Channel’s subscription count has skyrocketed from 22 to 88,000 and growing.

The mystery dinosaur enthusiast was absolutely overjoyed by the explosion of interest in his video offerings and made a clip titled “mega update video 0 0” to express his glee.

“I don’t even know if that’s true or not, this could be a problem with YouTube. But if it’s true this means I have hit fame level! And if this is true it is just so huge and for all of you who have subscribed to me, and watched my videos and liked them I would like to say thank you so much,”

Feel free to use the term “fame level” in your day-to-day from here on out. Also hooray for nice internet.
