Tracy Kiss is a former model who has a very troubling skin problem: Rosacea. The condition, which turned Kiss’s face red and produced pus-filled bumps on her face, wasn’t being helped by products Kiss found in stores, though, so she went back to nature for a solution. Like really natural. There’s no delicate way to say this, but Kiss, who’s now a fashion blogger, is advocating semen facials to combat problems of all types.

The Huffington Post reports that Kiss isn’t the first person to swear by treatments that include male bodily fluids. According to the outlet, both Heather Locklear and Helen Gurley Brown (of Cosmopolitan fame) claim that the facials do wonders. And Kiss is happy to let everyone know that they’re helping her, too. She’s even got a video tutorial about how to go about giving yourself such a facial. (Not linking here due to its very NSFW nature, but HuffPo has got you covered.)

Here’s what Kiss told The Mirror, via The Huffington Post:

“Semen builds babies, they come out very soft and have beautiful skin, and it leaves my skin nice and soft, so I’m very happy to use this as a facial,” she said, according to the Mirror.

“It feels like a face pack that pulls the skin inwards, it feels so glossy to wipe it off. It’s like having a kind of oil on the face or a wax where it just glides beautifully against the water. It’s so cooling and soothing.”

If you’re cringing at the thought of engaging in such a procedure, you’re not alone. While Kiss decided to go back to basics after a beautician recommended treating her rosacea with acid, dermatologists point out that smearing ejaculate on one’s face isn’t the answer. Not only will it not cure rosacea or other skin issues, but it could also lead to sexually transmitted infections. And then there’s the whole issue of where to collect the material needed for the facial. On her blog, Kiss writes that it’s best not to use the fluids of anyone who’s got a bad diet or stamina and to never go with an anonymous donor.

Here’s some comforting news, however: If you’d like your skin to glow without the possibility of STIs or breakouts (semen has testosterone, which could lead to acne, one dermatologist says), you can use egg whites to achieve similar results.
