Plenty of goals remain on my personal to-do-list yet to be checked off. One is to land on Forbes‘ Media 30 Under 30 compilation before February 2016. Another is to begin working for myself in some capacity. And another is becoming the next Spike Lee.
Not in the sense of accomplishing what he has in the world of film, but just becoming an identifiable sports fan everyone loves and hates. Where most who sit court side are more concerned with remaining camera ready, Spike just appreciates the game, talks trash and basically acts like a guy siting in the 400s – just how I would given the opportunity to post up close enough to trip a referee.
Anywho, Spike recently directed and shot a video in anticipation for the NBA’s Christmas Day slate revealing one of his favorite Knicks memories. Involving the King of New York before Christopher Wallace took the crown, Spike’s sincerity and genuine love of his squad and the sport remain on full display.
